Congratulations to the U8 Wolves for cleaning up in their section at the recent Sandhurst Town Tournament. Admittedly it took a few penalty shoot-outs, including in the last game, but the nerves held and the best team on the day won out. When interviewed, their young coaches, Barney and Niall, declared themselves to be "over the moon" with the discipline and skills of the whole squad. The travelling support were also delighted with the day and, after the defibrillators had been safely stowed away, made their weary way home, reflecting on "the most exciting day of their lives". Who said modern football couldn't be fun?
