Woodley Saints Football Club (WSFC) was established in 1983 to provide the opportunity for boys and girls in the Reading area to receive football coaching, training and participate in competitive football.

Woodley Saints Football Club has a main focus on developing the enjoyment of football, by providing professional coaching with quality facilities. To achieve this we have ensured that all teams have a designated manager or coach with FA recognised qualifications. The facilities we provide for all teams are of an excellent standard due to our close link with Berkshire County Sports (BCS) who provide us with pitches for home games and a newly built Astro-Turf for training.

This focus has enabled Woodley Saints to develop and grow as a football club. We now have over 450 registered players across 30 teams, making us one of the largest football clubs in the Thames Valley area.

Woodley Saints also places a great emphasis on the conduct of players both on and off the pitch. We have built a superb reputation for fair play, sportsmanship, good organisation and development of young footballers. These efforts combined with the hard work of everybody at the club have ensured that we have been one of the first clubs to achieve the FA Standard Charter. This accolade has only been awarded to 15 clubs within the Berks and Bucks F.A. and is based upon efforts for safety, improving player standards and facilities etc.
