Woodley Saints FC – Managers’ Induction Pack

Running a football squad or team is a demanding responsibility, requiring commitment through the whole year, at weekends and during the week. This pack has been put together to help new managers find their feet quickly and to help them learn from the experiences of others who have gone before them. The pack should also be useful to existing managers in providing many checklists and sources of information.

As this is the first edition, we welcome your feedback on how it can be improved for those who will follow in your footsteps. Here’s hoping that, above all, you enjoy your football with Woodley Saints.

The Managers Induction Pack currently consists of:

Woodley Saints FC Constitution. (This defines the framework within which we operate as a club).

Woodley Saints FC – Team Managers’ Guidelines. (A checklist design to help managers operate effectively, and to comply with club and league policy and rules).

Woodley Saints FC – Code of Conduct. (Summarises the behaviour expected of Club officials, parents/supporters and players).

Woodley Saints FC – Telephone List. (Contact details for all Club officials).

Woodley Saints FC Fees – 2000/2001 Season. (Stipulates the fee structure and schedule, together with areas where managers can exercise discretion).

Woodley Saints FC – Financial Report Form. (The form used by managers when submitting, to the Club treasurer, fees collected from the players).

Sample Registration Form. (There are different forms and information requirements for different leagues).

Woodley Saints FC – Parental Consent Form. (Completion of this for each player in your squad is a requirement of the Berks & Bucks FA).
